Celebrating the Entrepreneurial Journey of Freddy Zuarich: From a New Beginning to a Thriving Business with Life Asset

Life Asset is proud to spotlight Freddy Zuarich, a driven entrepreneur whose determination, resilience, and hard work helped him build a thriving technology service business from the ground up. Freddy’s journey from Mérida, Venezuela, to founding DZTechs in the United States is a powerful story of overcoming challenges and turning a vision into reality—with the support of a community that believes in small businesses.

Freddy immigrated to the U.S. with his wife in 2017, starting fresh in a new country and leaving behind an extensive background in technology and security systems. He had worked in the tech field since 2002 and began specializing in surveillance systems in 2010. But even with his experience, restarting his life and career in a new country was anything but easy.

Eventually, he saw the opportunity to return to his roots in tech—installing structured cabling, surveillance systems, and security solutions. He officially launched DZTechs, his own technology solutions company, serving the Washington, DC metro area.

With very little capital, no credit, and limited access to startup resources, Freddy had to get creative. He asked clients for prepayment to cover material costs and used high-interest credit cards to keep the business afloat. Building trust and gaining traction was a slow but personal process that laid the foundation for a company built on integrity and quality work.

The Turning Point: Life Asset

A friend who had previously received support from the organization introduced Freddy to Life Asset. Curious and determined, Freddy reached out and quickly connected with Martha, who guided him through the process and introduced him to programs that would fuel his next growth stage.

“Life Asset helped me build real business connections—and those turned into real income,” Freddy shares.

Through Life Asset, Freddy accessed training, business development resources, and a network of supportive entrepreneurs. The marketing course and small business events helped Freddy position DZTechs for growth and gave him the confidence to see himself as a CEO—not just a technician.

“I made some good deals and got real income through their networking,” he says.

Freddy also appreciated the personal support he received from Life Asset. Unlike traditional financial institutions, Life Asset offered a sense of community and understanding that made a real difference during his business’s early, challenging days.

Building Through Challenges

Freddy launched DZTechs around 2019, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was about to disrupt industries nationwide. In 2021, construction delays and permit restrictions stalled projects and created months without work.

But Freddy held on. He pushed through what he describes as the hardest period of his life. By mid-2022, the business began to gain traction again. 2023 brought even more stability—and by 2024, he had his strongest year yet.

Today, DZTechs offers a wide range of residential and commercial services, including network infrastructure, audio-video installations, access control, security systems, and low-voltage cabling. Freddy’s business serves homeowners and businesses alike, delivering custom solutions ranging from surveillance systems to structured cabling for IT environments.

Freddy prides himself on reliability, craftsmanship, and customer service. Whether installing high-definition video surveillance systems for residential or commercial buildings and also for retail space, access control and intercom systems or creating a smart home setup for a new homeowner, DZTechs approaches every project carefully and professionally.

“My clients know they can trust me,” Freddy says.

A Future Fueled by Community and Growth

Now entering his fifth year in business, Freddy is planning for what’s next. He’s preparing to hire one or two full-time employees and expand DZTechs’ capacity to serve even more clients across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. He’s also considering vehicle investments and new equipment that will allow him to offer even more advanced services.

Freddy is also focused on giving back. He hopes to collaborate with local fire and police departments and continues to recommend Life Asset to other entrepreneurs looking to launch their ideas. Whether it’s a neighbor who wants to become a contractor or hoping to start their own company, Freddy is quick to encourage others to take advantage of the support that helped him find his footing.

Freddy’s Advice to Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Freddy encourages others to start by testing their ideas and seeking the resources and training that can support their journey.

“If you have an idea or want to prove something, you can start with Life Asset,” he says. “They have classes for business development. Once you have an idea, you run a test to see if it works—and if not, you fix it to fit your customers.”

His success is a testament to what’s possible when skill and vision meet the right support. Freddy Zuarich’s story is not just about starting a business—it’s about creating opportunity, building a reputation, and bringing value to the community one client at a time.
